English is my first language, color is my second
My third is wool — and with it comes the magic of transforming fiber into felt with soap, water, and friction. An ancient craft, rooted in tradition, expressed through my hands.
My work draws from a lifetime of collected images, the blue tiles, rose gardens and black crows of Isfahan where I lived for a year, the landscape and wildlife of the Hudson Valley outside my door, and botanical imagery woven through my heritage. In wool, silk and color, I find a way to hold it all.
